Alex S. Newman has been practicing law for more than fifteen years with broad experience in the areas of corporate law, trusts and estates, family law, taxation, and business transactions. A graduate of Boston College Law School, he maintains bar licenses in California, Louisiana, and Massachusetts and enjoys the challenges offered by practice in different jurisdictions. His sense of community is fulfilled through volunteering in the Ventura Family Law Self-Help Center and he also routinely provides pro bono service to lower income clients within the Ventura court system. A resident of Channel Islands Harbor, Mr. Newman is a life-long boating and diving enthusiast, a U.S. Coast Guard licensed Master 100 Gross Ton Captain, and an unapologetic diehard exotic and classic car owner and fanatic.
Peter J. Horton has been practicing law for more than ten years with in the areas of union labor negotiations, administrative and criminal defense, civil litigation family law, and class action lawsuits dealing with securities fraud. Mr. Horton is licensed to practice law in California and is a graduate of California Western School of Law. Growing up, his love of classic cars and airplanes was nurtured by his stepfather who was the editorial director for numerous national automotive publications and his brother who is a RV-8 builder and enthusiast.
